Perhaps you need a new web admin. I have a lot of experience, and will take pay in steel. Think about it.

I really like the sound of the grind on this one. Is this a similar grind as on the 511 scrapyard knife??

We have been trying to get more info on this at the Yard. Perhaps Jerry can help us answer this mystery.

We know the SYKCO 511 has a "Slightly Convex Saber Grind". We know the Rodent 9 has a "Ultra Convex Bevel" (UCB), which is described in more detail as a mere 1 degree off flat, CNC bevel, that rises to within less than 5/16" from the spine.

When looking at the Rodent 9's picture, it appears to have similar milling lines that have been present on the stripped SYKCO 511's. This might indicate that the SYKCO 511 also has this new UCB, as described in the Rodent 9 posting.

It would be great to hear from someone at the shop, in the least...to add clarity.

You can really see the "Ultra Convex Bevel" (UCB) in this original sized pix.
Hope it doesn't explode the screen of someones cell phone:p
Really excited about this one:D

Anyone here know of the ETA for these? I was able to snag one yesterday, so I'm looking forward to getting it!

Any idea on how much this bad boy weighs?
And for those of you who handled it at Blade, did it feel weight-forward, chopping-capable?
Also, how does the handle feel? Looks like it could be uncomfortable in heavy use, did that appear to be the case?
