Rodent Solution Death Chat!

I know I'm new here, but I actually think you are correct. Based on assumptions of course, but lets break it down. There's only a couple solutions to rodentia out there. basically traps & poison. Well can't be a poison knife, so it's gotta be a "trap" knife. i.e. Rattrap folder, but to truly be a "solution" it'd have to be a big enough trap for all rats, so vis a vis, A big, gnarly, rat trap.

Good rum, bourbon, pretty much anything brown & several years old is good with me, so yep, both statements definitely stand!

Thanks MD, lol,I have it,but haven't taken the time to really explore what it can do...
I'm not that 'puter literate, and haven't found gimp to be as user-friendly as Picasso (for me)...

As any complicated program it can be a bear to get started on, but to their credit they actually have some good documentation and tutorials on their site:

http://www.gimp.org/tutorials/

What you want to do is open two pictures, one with the knife, one with the rat trap. Select only the knife with the little tool that looks like a lasso, when thats done, you can "feather" the selection from the select menu (make a smooth transition), depending on the size you want to pick somewhere between 1-5 pixels. Then you copy it, and paste it into the other picture. Move it where you want it to go, rotate/scale it so it fits, and anchor it.

Its rewarding to figure it out.. Now back to the rodent solution ;)

Cool,you rock MD,thanks!
When I first looked at gimp,it overwhelmed me a bit:
I have the patience of a stone when it comes to sitting and figuring something out/working on a knife...I can sit for 5-6 hours without moving from the bench doing file-work...
But when it comes to 'puters, I get frustrated after 10 minutes!
I'm gonna give gimp another go,
Thanks again man!

So the sites back up and now the solution is coming very soon??????? wasn't that the deal? Ha!

Did you know if you jumble the word "rodent solution" it spells "M7"? You have to throw out a couple of letters and add some numbers and letters but it's there.
