I bought this knife directly from Rodrigo in 2007, when he was a JS. Note that the scales have shrank a tiny bit. If you look at the pictures below, it is not noticeable, however, the pique work (the fleurs-de-lys) can be felt on the skin.
The blade is 9 5/8", and the overall lenght is 14 7/8". The handle is Mulato wood from Amazon, a very hard and dense wood. The sheath is buffalo leather and shark skin, with damascus button and removable belt loop. The damascus "frog" (or button) means that it can be worn either hanging from a belt or inside the belt, gaucho style. The sheath is a piece of art in its own right.
