Rodrigo Sfreddo "MS" Test Hunter

Thanks everyone for all the positive comments.

I can see why you are pleased Kevin the knife and sheath are superb. I can't believe I never got to see this knife in person. Coop fantastic pic. Congrats
I didn't score that one until late Saturday afternoon Joe and it went straight to Coops, so I didn't have time to show it to you.

Very cool hunter, Kevin, sweet score!
Really like that damascus and the sheath completes a great package.
Rodrigo's sheaths equal his knives.
Doug

I agree Doug, Rodrigo makes some incredible sheaths. I hope we see a photo of his test dagger and sheath. The sheath is a masterpiece in itself.

I agree, I saw some of his work first hand on his table and was blown away!
I was also surprised when I saw another mastersmith buy one of his knives at blade.

That must be the ultimate complement when another accomplished maker buys one of your knives.

The dude is on another level; I've been saying this for years.

Nice snag, Kevin. That was the only one of his knives that I could've possibly afforded, but would've taken almost all my money.

My personal favorite of Rodrigo's test knives, was the ivory coffin handled bowie with the 7 bar Turkish Twist damascus blade. Hopefully, somebody has a nice pic they can post.

Yes, good value in Rodrigo's knives. The ivory coffin handle bowie was amazing in deed.
Nice meeting you Danbo.

Kevin thats a very nice hunter indeed. Looks like it would fit into the hand both comfortably and securely, really like the contouring.

It does fit the hand extremely well. Would make a very nice hunting companion if it were not for it being so pretty. ;) :D

Nice score Kevin! I must agree with Doug knife and sheath are both outstanding!:D

Great package! Very nice acquisition, Kevin. I love it when a knife and sheath present so well together and, to me, there's just something very special about test knives. Congrats!!!

I did not get to look at the hunter, but I did get to view his dagger – stunning. The complexity of the complete composition of the knife is extraordinary. No doubt the same artistry is exhibited in the hunter. It is very exciting to see Mastersmiths like Rodrigo, Jimmy Chin, Jason Knight, Burt Foster, Shane Taylor, Ron Newton, Wade Colter, and Jim Rodebaugh take knifemaking to an art form. I am looking forward to seeing more work from Kyle Royer.

Matt, I really like your knives. The hamone on your knives is second to none.

It's beautiful, and I hope the wood doesn't shrink.
Best Regards,
STeven Garsson

I hope not as well.
Been fortunate in that I have never had a handle shrinkage problem yet.

Brazil is very humid though. I will watch it close.

Thanks all, for the positive comments.

Another beautiful Coop photo showing full view of the sheath:

Hello Guys! I'm so glad by the comments I heard and read, thank you so much. That was the best show of my life, indeed! I'm honored by the Mastersmith degree and the award I received. I'm also very proud of selling two of my knives to Mastersmiths!
I just hoot some pics of my knives few minutes before my trip, and didn't had the time yet to work with those. My internet access is not very good right now, but Roger may post it here soon.
Thank you Kevin, for the beautiful pictures you're posting here.

So I get your latest knife before you go mastersmith ! Congratulation Rodrigo ! This dagger is really awesome by the way.
