Known for his pioneering work with forged integrals this piece represents on of his most technically challenging designs .... such was the complexity and difficulty in achieving the handle configuration of this piece ( the "frame" runs perpendicular to the blade as opposed to the normal extrusion) Rodrigo stated that he would not take any orders for it in the future.
