I have a beautiful like-new Roger Dole timascus M8 prototype liner lock folder with a matching timascus backspacer and an ATS-34 blade for sale. This piece is a strikingly dressy little folder that would be perfect in a suit pocket or for any occasion that you need a sheeple-friendly knife that can also serve as an interesting conversation piece.
This folder is also one of the first 6 knives ever made with timascus, so for those of you who are fans of the material, the timascus in this piece is from a time when timascus was still being handmade by Tom Ferry.
The M8 prototype has never been carried, used, or sharpened. It is marked "00P" on the back side of the blade. The action is smooth, the blade is well centered, and the lock-up with the inlaid lock bar is very strong.
***TRADED***
The specs:
Condition: Like new
Blade length: 2 1/2" from tip to handle
Overall length: 5 1/2"
Blade thickness: 3/32" at serrated thumb ramp
Blade steel: ATS-34
Blade finish: Handrubbed
Edge: Plain
Handle material: Timascus, polished
Lock: Titanium liner lock, inlayed into frame
Clip: None, but includes small felt carry pouch
The last two pictures are by Daniel O'Malley of www.bladegallery.com
For payment, I prefer money orders, but I will also accept cashier's checks, PayPal, and cash (at your own risk). If you are paying by PayPal, I will cover the fees, but the payment has to be sent with a PayPal-confirmed address (including the green "confirmed" marker) listed in the invoice, and I will only ship to that PayPal-confirmed address. Personal checks have to clear before I ship the knife.
Below are the only trades (+ or - cash) that I will consider on this one:
JL Williams framelocks or flippers
Galyean flippers
Carson folders
Onion folders
Bogi flippers
Rick Hinderer Fire Whirl or damascus Firetac
Mayo large 6K TNT (spearpoint only)
Burke Mini-Resurrection
DB Fraley Torrent framelock flipper
Blackwood Curr
Deryk Munroe Chimera
Feel free to post, email, or PM any questions. Thanks for looking!
