OK, this has been around a few times I am sure. ut I am a new kid here, living in Oz (Australia) This is an advantage if you are liiking for pearl shell, or Ring Gidgee, but because there are so few knive makers we depend on this sort of thing to kearn...

Here goes, I weld patterns, some complex, but am trying to figure out how you guys do the "Explosion" pettern, figure it involves twisting, jellyrolling then cutting to show the end grain, yes ?

Also, I would like to weld stainless, I have both a drawing press and a straight 60 tonner to use, and fire on good grade of coke...any hope of a few clues...thanks guys, you make great reading, hope I can find my way back here to see what you tell me...(Old fart, you know, new to this computer thing...)
