I met Ed for the first time last year at BladeWest. I was very close to buying my first Fowler but didn't because of so many other purchases I had made. I will not make that mistake this year.
The clip point bowie, second from the left in the top picture, and the smaller of the two camp knives arrayed on the right are truly exceptional knives, from an aesthetic standpoint, irrespective of who made them, but the fact that Ed Fowler made them elevates them to a whole new strata.
Would have been happy to help - glad that Kevin was able to respond quickly.
That is a pretty freaking impressive assembly.
While I have never warmed to the aesthetics of Ed's smaller pieces, I have always loved the look of his larger blades. I don't think I have ever seen so many of those in one place.
