This knife was custom ordered and was custom made to the original owner's specs. 8" overall length, 3 3/4" blade from the guard forward. A little over 1/8" thick at the spine and flat ground to a nice thin and exceptionally sharp cutting edge. The unsharpened clip also tapers nicely to a really great tip. Fantastic stag, with a pronounced curve that feels great in the hand. The pressed fit, nickel silver guard contrasts nicely with the blade and adds a real touch of class. Fit and finish on this knife is absolutely second to none. "M.S." stamp on the back. Roger did not supply a sheath with this one. Probably the most beautiful, well made and coolest knife of this size that I've ever seen. A great collectible or the perfect personal utility knife. With a Massey 52100 blade, along with this geometry, I don't think anything will outcut it. $725 shipped.

BTW, the pic doesn't "show off" the knife like it deserves. It's gorgeous !

Makes the knife look bleached out. This knife has great color and a very classic look. Also forgot to add that it's minty perfect and new in every way.

$625. Will accept offers and partial trades for custom knives, SIG P220 .45, SIS P226 9mm, Beretta 92FS........Thanks,

Pete

$550 + shipping. That's as low as I can go. It's a great knife and would make the ultimate personal utility carry knife.

That is a sweet little knife from one of the very best bladesmiths out there.

Roger

I hate to butt in...that is a great knife. If I didn't have to poney up ~$750 for books this semester I'd be all over that ;).

Matt

Thanks for the nice comments on this one. I wouldn't have bragged it up so much, myself, if it wasn't such an excellent knife. This one just has that special "thing" about it. Never thought it would sit here for any length of time at $550. Just goes to show you that sometimes a gem will go unnoticed for a little while on the forums.

Riad, it IS the knife I picked up in Little Rock, and YES, you need to buy it!

I'd string her on a piece of leather and hang her around my neck
and yes I need to but ..I may be hitting Reno so I gotta hold off

I received a message from Coop, basically telling me that "pictures sell knives" and to get a better pic, instead of lowering the price to giveaway levels. He's 100% right. Problem is, I'm not home at the moment, need to sell it and even if I was, I can't get a good picture out of my new digital camera. Need to figure it out better when I get the time. So......for those of you who don't need to fall in love with a picture before buying a great, one of a kind knife at a great price, here's an offer for one day only. After that, I'll cancel this for sale post until I can get a great pic. Today only. First one who says he'll take it, owns it. This knife is unused and like brand new in every respect.

$500 + $10 shipping, money order please. Thanks,

Pete

Mr. Gill, you won't regret it. It'll fit right in with your other small to medium sized hunters. Congrats! :)

Congrats, Peter! Guys, I sent AV8R a note in support of HIM taking a better photo. It pains me to see work of this calibre going for rock bottom. Then again, I've been at the receiving end of these deals, and it works BOTH ways.

Glad you turned it into a sale. Congrats to all involved.

Coop

Peter bought the knife and he'll love it. Thanks to everyone for the nice comments and support of the knife. We all love Roger's work. Thanks to Coop. If I was at all unclear, he wasn't trying to drum up any business for himself. He was just being very supportive and urging me to spend a little time and shoot a nicer picture. I welcome and value his advice. Like Coop, I've been on my fair share of the receiving end of great deals. It doesn't bother me at all to be on the giving end once in a while, as long as the knives go to good guys like all of you.

Stephen F,

I can't afford a hotel. My wife is just going to stick me out in the backyard.
The main problem is that I have been forced to sell KEEPERS lately to pay for these new arrivals. :grumpy:
BUT, C'est la vie. :)

COOP,

You may still get a chance to strut your stuff on this one.

AV8R,

It is always important to find good homes for the the good ones.

Danbo,

I hope you are going to buy me a peanut butter sandwich in Atlanta. I am NOT certain that I will be able to afford one. ;)

RAN,

I suspect that you will find something in Reno to ease your "pain".

Congrats on a sweet pick up Peter she'll look great next to the Newton
Reno will be trancendental..literally a show where one can close your eyes put your hand down on any table and pick up an extraordinary piece.
