An excellent example of Roger Massey's work, with a very nice S guard and fittings in nickle silver, and a beautiful Ironwood handle.
The blade is 10" of 1084 steel and the knife is 15.25" overall. A leather sheath by the maker is included.

A Classic ABS MS Bowie. You will be VERY pleased. :cool:

Roger does most of his big carbon steel bowies with a traditional oval guard. I have seen comparatively few with an understated little S-guard like this one. Very nice indeed.

This is because I had him make this one custom for me. Why I ever got rid of it, I'll never know.
 
I have a Massey S guard, and it is truly a stunning piece, one I do not foresee me parting company with. The thing is I did not really appreciate it until I go my hands on it .... Roger has a way with Fit, finish, and overall balance that really is superb. I suspect this one will be the same, and at that price its an absolute steal!
