Although Roger is no stranger in Blade magazine, I wanna congratulate him for his article (that he's featured in) in the new issue. It must be amazing to get to share/discuss part of your collection with the world. One of his own knives is even in there!

Pg. 12 also has Rob Connally's bowie that Kyle Royer made which is a candidate for the 08 bowie. Check out that as well.

Thanks much guys 'n gal. I haven't seen the article yet and won't likely for a little while (Canada seems to lag behind by a couple weeks distribution-wise) but I am equally excited and freaked out about it. And deeply honoured, as well.

I am very grateful to Steve Shackleford for the opportunity and to Dan Farr -who is a pretty terrific writer - and I know will have done a great job on it.

Is it an article on the usage of "Hair in a Can" as a protective coating for fine blades?

Can't wait to read the article, I think the people in my post office read it while they're driving the mule cart.

My Blade has not been delivered yet. Guess NJ has a distribution delay on top of other issues.

Dang........last months edition just showed up on the stand at Borders. I need to renew my subscription. Congrats, Roger. I got an E-mail last week from Joe Kertzman about being in the Knifemakers Showcase with those stag bowies, but I'm not holding my breath. I didn't get into TK last time. But it does make me feel good that I have actually been considered for publication by two different mags even if I don't end up in either one.......OH SCREW THAT!!!! I want to be in PRINT!!! :D
