Rogue's Good Karma Contest *WINNER CHOSEN SEE OP*

Like me, prolly most Beckerheads don't like tootin' their own horn.
Nice idea for a contest, just...difficult.

If someone is trying to be modest when describing something nice they have done it usually shows. If anything I hope this contest will inspire people to share a story they maybe wouldn't have otherwise (at the risk of seeming like they are tooting their own horn). I do understand however if some are too humble to participate, and that's fine. No pressure, just a (hopefully) fun contest for anyone that would like to share a story.

I don't have many cool stories to be honest. I'm just a normal dude who happens to have a few knives :).

My "coolest" story happened right after I got my BK2. My neighbor was laying pergo (fake hardwood flooring) in his apt, but because his apt is very old, it didn't have a door sill. This meant that when he got it all done, he couldn't open or close his front door because of the extra height of the flooring.

My neighbor had been working on this for something like 16 hours at this point and was totally exhausted. I came home from work and offered my help as any good neighbor would. Now, as we were both college guys, we didn't have as many tools as either of us would like. His door would fit in the doorframe, but would not close. It wasn't off by a ton, so I decided to use my fresh BK2 as a drawknife to make it fit, seeing how it was almost midnight and neither of us had a plane. It worked just fine (obviously a bit slow though), my neighbor was impressed (mostly happy he could go to bed) and everyone was happy.

So, in the end, I made it so my neighbor could go to bed with a closed front door that night, and he and his wife, and 6 month old kid could sleep in peace. It wasn't life threatening (not cold out), but I know he appreciated it.

Anyway, thats all I've got :P.

Thanks everyone who has entered so far. This ends today, I work in the evening so I will decide when I get home from work (around 11-12PM SoCal time) so if anyone wants to toss in an entry that hasn't yet feel free until I get home from work and pick a winner.

Sound the drums....

And the winner is?

Lol sorry to keep you in suspense man. I worked like 17 hours in the last couple days and I am mentally tired right now so I wouldn't feel capable of picking the winner until the morning, my apologies. I promise it will be the first thing I do after I feed my kid breakfast.

We will officially call this CLOSED to new entries (not closing the thread) however so whoever is in is in. I will let everyone know tomorrow, sorry again for the delay, I want to make sure I reread everybody's entries before I decide and I am too tired to read that much right now.

Sleep well every one, good night!

Woo! Feels good man.

E-mail on it's way!

EDIT: I'm having trouble figuring out how to e-mail you

And thanks for the contest and letting me win! It's still my favourite knife story :)
