I have here two very nice Carter Nekers.
The measurements with #1 and a #2 measurement correspond to the knife
BLADE:Steel: 1095 Multiple Edge Quench
Overall Length: 7 1/4"
Blade Length**: 3 3/8"
Width: 7/8"
Spine Thickness: #1 .067" #2 0.74"
¼ Back from the Edge: .030"
Edge Thickness: .008"
Finish: #1 Belt finish/Etched Flat #2 Belt/Scale finish
Grind: #1 Full flat Chisel Grind #2 Full Flat Ground
Spine is smooth and rounded

HANDLE:
Finish: Oiled and Buffed
Material #1 Stabilized Koa(dark) red liners #2 Buckskin War Wood with Natural Micarta liners
Pins: #1 Carbon Fiber #2 Natural Micarta

SHEATH:
.060" Slate Grey Kydex with black eyelets and a charcoal para cord lanyard
The sheath has a nice click in fit and is easy to draw
-The Eyelets in this sheath are spaced to fit the large Tek-lok belt loop(1 1/2" between center)
-Edges are buffed

These Murray Carter patterns are some of the most prolifically used in fixed blade making, but I've never seen any maker do them better justice than you!

He's got such an interesting/unique story...a relatively young (he's only in his early/mid 40s) white Canadian man who is now known as a great Japanese knife maker & teacher....anyhow, love your stuff!!

There copied with good reason I'd say! He makes a great looking knife.
