I'm getting close to being done with these. Promise. I'll start making some more complicated hunters and fancy bowies here in a little while. Meanwhile, here's another classic design from Murray Carter with my own twist of steel and style.
BLADE:
Steel: 1095
Overall Length: 7 3/8"
Cutting Edge Length: 3 1/4"
Width*: 7/8"
Spine Thickness: .070"
¼ Back from the Edge: .030"
Edge Thickness: .004"(before sharpening)
Finish: Etched
Grind: Full flat grind
Spine is smooth and rounded
HANDLE:
Finish: Buffed
Material: Thunderstorm Kevlar
Pins: Garolite
SHEATH:
.060" Black Kydex with black eyelets and a charcoal para cord lanyard
The sheath has a nice click in fit and is easy to draw
-The Eyelets in this sheath are spaced to fit the large Tek-lok belt loop(1 1/2" between center)
-Edges are buffed
*Width is measured at the Ricasso
