I am looking to put some keyless chuck on my drillpress. I don't have the $ for an albrecht. I read somewhere that Rohm made decent ones. They don't seem much more expensive than the Enco brand. Anyone uses them or knows about them. Is it worth putting the extra money over the Enco ones?

Thanks for your help.

Yes...They are pretty good chucks...To me they are on par with Albrecht.

I read the same thing at the practical machinists website forum. They are supposed to be pretty good for the money.

I have one of each, and i have to say that the Albrecht is far better!! the rohm is a very nice chuck, too. but i have a cheap $20 chuck that runs nearly as well. the albrecht is the cream of the crop (imo). post a (wtb) add on practical machinist.., i got mine for $70.
