Might be summer vacation, might be computer "challenges", but for whatever reason it strikes me we've got some fellows missing from the ranks. The above list is certainly not all of 'em. With what all's been going on over the last few days with the forum, it might not be a bad idea to touch base with buddies, so if they're not present they're at least accounted for.

Keith (Ferrous Wheel) emailed me a couple of days ago asking what happened to the forum. I told him about Pen's temporary forum and gave him a link. And I emailed him again when this forum came back online. So I think he's around somewhere.
 
Pappy's here. Yvsa's computer died; he found his way to the HI forum on Knifeforums to let us all know, you guys were all hanging out at Pen's forum though. He's got a new one en route; so he should be back soon. Munk; same problem. Ferrous Wheel; your guess is as good as mine.
 
I couldn't log in. Forum kept telling me I had wrong password, but wouldn't send me new one. Finally about 8 new passwords arrived, all over 24 hours old and useless. Once more ( well, 3 more times ) and got back in, and reset password to the old familiar one.

So now I'm back. So far....

I bugged Uncle Bill about the forum, missed Pen's forum. Sure am glad things are back to normal or they appear to be. Didn't FW say something about going for a new job. With a little luck maybe he got it and they are keeping him busy.

I don't know just what is in progress for Munk. Hope to hear from him pretty soon too.
I'm sure Berkley is still around. He just may be a very busy man too.

I got an email from the quack the other night and he sure is an insulting, web footed, flat mouthed, baby AK carryin... I don't know. There is just something wrong with that fellar.:) :) :)
 
Been quite busy, got a promotion. After 5 months of unemployment, I'm not complaining. That and the 11-month old dominate the time.

Hope all is well.

Good point n2s, a Duck who hordes khuks and lives in a cave is a lot like the troll that lives under the bridge in old fairy tales. No Jim, I'm not calling you a troll or a fairy, but if my daughter ever graces me with grand kids I'll scare 'em with stories of the vampire duck that lives in a cave in the swamp.;)
