I've been around, mostly lurking. Danbo's somewhere about; talked with him just the other week.

Yeah, I've been a bit scarce lately... Obligations to family, work, and home have left me precious spare time of late (I type this from the office, where I've been for about 13 hours now), but things will quiet down eventually, at which point I'll be able to crawl out from under this craziness and get myself back in the game.

But I'll never be too far away!

I check in more than once a day but working simultaneously on
two fully illustrated big books prevents me from too much active
participation....

regarding Riad's new place--
A couple of friends have told me that they ate there recently, and it was fantastic. (This was simply describing their recent restaurant experience; they had no idea that I "know" Riad.) These folks are very particular about food and they were raving about the place.
 
Don't visit BF as frequently as in the past, but whenever I do I always swing by this section.
 
Still lurking, still buying a few customs.

I will have to dust off the camera and post some new images.

I'm almost ashamed to say I have never eaten at Raid's place even though I always intend to when in NYC. Have sent friends/business associates to Balthazar's though and they have always enjoyed it and thanked me for the recommendation. The best of luck on the new place.
