Need to clear some space in my shop..
Selling a Roll-In EF1459 bandsaw. This is their vertical competitor to traditional horizontal bandsaw's and the model they get their name from.
This unit is manufactured in Cleveland Ohio.
If you're not familiar with how this saw works check out their web page which is rollinsaw.com - basically you push down on the front lever which allows the saw to roll back away from the work surface. When the lever is release a piston slows the return of the blade allowing for a gravity cut. Obviously it's also a great bandsaw for working off the table and what it's currently setup to do.
Manufactured in June 2005 so it's not even six years old yet. This model is still in production and all parts are readily available from Roll-In in Cleveland.
This unit is 3 phase, variable speed. You can either connect it in an industrial 3 phase environment or by using a Variable Frequency Drive or Phase Converter. Another inexpensive option would be to change the motor out to a single phase 220v. I have a VFD available I can sell if needed but it's not included with the saw. I may even have a used 110/220 motor I can throw in but I'd have to check.
I aquired this from a local business where it had been in service since new. I have not installed it yet but now I can use the space more. I was told one of the bearings should be replace in the upper or lower wheel (they weren't sure). It didn't interfere with the operation of the saw but did thump a little.
It includes an extra wiring kit & switch along with a brand new blade.
Everything I have is shown in the pictures.
Price of this saw new from the manufacturer is $4,195 and I am selling it for $1,450
If you need delivery I can bring it to your shop on a flat bed trailer and drop it inside your doors using a diesel tractor for a reasonable price. Don't want to go more that 150 miles though.
If you come pick it up I can drop it on your trailer or truck.
I'm between Akron and Youngstown Ohio 5 miles from either the 534 or 225 exit off 76. Zip is 44429
**NOTE** On Sunday December 12th I will be driving to Frederick MD and can deliver within a few miles of my route as long as you have a way to unload.
