Tom Marker and I got there Saturday around 12:45. Met Chad Pirtle and his wife, and hung around Mickey Yurco's table quite a bit, talking Guntings, pocketsticks, etc. We bought him out of his two aluminum training knives and admired the rest of his wares--someday I'll have to get a REAL knife from him! Also visited A.T. Barr's table, and his having the ability to do "Spydie hole" folders has got me thinking the unthinkable--customsssssssssssssss.

$$$$
I was surprised a few folks hadn't seen a Sifu, or a Blue Native, so I guess I had something to share amongst all the customs and expensive stuff after all!
I broke out the camera to get a few pics of really nice no-frills blades at the table of Sean Kendrick, whose motto, "Innovations in Agression" Tom and I admired. Too bad Chad had left, or we would have taken his picture too.
I'll comment more when I get my pics developed and Tom can post them here (possibly on a new thread--it'll be a few days).
I loved going to my first KNIFE SHOW! It was much less stressful than an Ohio Gun Collectors meet, being smaller. We had enough time to take our time and see most everything, although I missed those Greco "friction lock" knives" (I think I know which ones they were, if anyone has a pic, please post).
Again, more later,
Karl
