Rolls, books, boxes or drawers. How do you store your knives?

I found some plastic boxes at the Organized Living store a few years ago that hold about 16 folders and they are not as deep as many, about 1". Clear all over with movable dividers. I can label the ends, stack them, and easily look inside and retrieve the one I want easily due to the shallow depth. I can get about three times as many knives in the same space as some of those others such as Plano etc. Latches are separate and not part of lid/bottom mold, very positive. I have gotten rid of all my rolls except one for shows since finding these.

No picture handy but worth looking at.

I like to keep mine in old store display cases. Some of these allow easy access and others don't. It's nearly as much fun searching out the cases as it is searching out knives. That's me in the reflection

Those are some great display cases Mr Carter.

A while back a brother and friend of mine used to wood boxes. When he offered them to me at a friend discount. I could not refuse. I ended up with three various styles over the years.

This one is two levels, solid wood with pigskin pads in each slot.

This one is a lot thinner. Some fancy stuff and a few decades of collecting in there from makers world wide. A little older picture since Ken's Horseman's knife resides right in the middle.

I have never shot the third one. It is pretty cool. Roll top with three levels. (24 slots).

I keep my knives in a separate drawer in my regular roll-around like the rest of my tools.

And I got this for other things but the knives have migrated into it. I need to add at least one more shelf....

This one came with the Case's

And this is just a Michael's special. I need to redo the liner for better effect and protection....

I'll be looking for some olde cases myself....
