Hi. I've gone back and forth with these... I had 2 of his first 4 on the exchange.. then sold them both, and then a month or 2 ago bought a different one back. All 3 that I've owned had small imperfections, mostly screw holes too close to edge of micarta or uneven placement, nothing major. CUSTOM hand made.. so imperfections (of the slightest, are all good.).
The thing with this one is the lock bar only hits about 1mm of the tang, so like 2% lockup, no kidding. So it does lock, and hold, and it's super easy to disengage when you want. It hasn't disengaged on accident on me yet. I almost feel Ron should just sand off an ever so small amount on the tang so it can engage a bit more. SO my price is fair I believe and low enough that someone could send this back and have that done OR NOT.
The blade has been slightly resharpened and it has been stroped a few times at least before I received it. There are light scuffs and very light scratches on blade, and I've let it begin to patina just a bit.
Blade is 1/8in A2, tip to scales is 3 1/2in, OAL is 8in.
Maroon micarta. All screws on this one have plenty of room before the edge of the micarta begins. The thumbstuds are loose enough that if you want with your fingers you can remove them. Clip is fine. No blade play.
