Ron Gaston was a prominent and popular Guild member from the 1980's on until his passing in 2006. His knives were featured in many magazine articles and shows. I ordered this knife from Ron in the 1980's and when it arrived just could not put it into use as it was just too nice. It has sat in my case and has been picked up a couple of times a year but never used. Its specs:
Blade length= 3 3/4" O.A.L. = 8 1/4"
Blade is ATS - 34 Bolsters 416 both satin finished
Beveled sheep's horn scales with red micarta liners
