RON LAKE DESIGN INTERFRAME LOCKBACK FOLDER

This is what Ron Lake calls a "completely hand-crafted knife", as stated in his description of the knife. Ron went to China with David Chen, the owner of Cas Iberia Knives, and worked with the several craftsmen in Chen's studio until he was able to get the perfection that Ron is noted for.

I've had one of these Ron Lake interframes sitting side by side with a true $15k Lake interframe and it is most difficult to tell which is by Ron and which is by the makers he trained. Only 500 were made in 2002 (it was on the cover of Blade 2002). Now, it's almost impossible to find one for sale. Some time ago, I had several of these, and kept only this one. Now it's time for this last one to go.

Originally priced at $505 in 2002, these had in recent years been around for sale at $350 - $450. None have sold within the last year or so, with the last ones at $450. Simply too good a little piece to let go for that today, thus the price here.
