I'll toss in my two cents.
Now keep in mind I like most antique reproductions and multiblades are at the top of the list of what I collect (although certain bowies and daggers are right up there with them). Those are the knives that "blow my skirt up".
No matter what style, design or embelishment I have seen, I consider Ron's knives at the top of the heap with a few others. To me his fit, finish and design (even on styles I do not generally collect) are as good as it gets.
To each our own, but I know without a doubt when my name comes up on his list, I can give him a general direction and a ballpark ceiling price sit back and let him go from there. He'll have fun and I'll end up with a knife of his that I will enjoy. That type of thing is the pinnacle of collecting knives for me. I am lucky to have experienced a few of those pinnacles.
