Are there any Rookies in G-10 (and plain edge) out there to be had, or are they long since discontinued?

Awesome knife. I simply can't say enough good things about it. Get one. Love the ATS-55.
 
The last catalogue from Smokymountainknive
listed a rookie plain at $39.99 with G-10 ?
scales - mine just came .. I think I'm going to like this knife!

I know for certain that SMKW has serrated G-10 Rookies for $39.99, but I don't know about plain-edge.

I was wrong in my last post - I don't "like" this knife - I LOVE this Knife! but it is lonely - that means I guess I'll have to buy anotherone fairly soon - What experience has anyone had with the "Q" model? that looks interesting.. even though I get nervous about cutting away parts of the blade.

Is the PEACE or PIECE when you collect knives

Hey Revvie, does the g10 Rookie have the stainless steel spacer, or the single steel liner, similar to the Standard? Or is it like the BF Native, just g10?

The Rookie has the single stainless liner. It's too cool! And I too felt that mine was "lonely" so I picked up a Wegner last week to keep the lil Rookie company! They look so darn happy together, it brings a tear to my eye
