I know for certain that SMKW has serrated G-10 Rookies for $39.99, but I don't know about plain-edge.

I got my plain edge G10 Rookie specifically for airline travel. It has never been given a second glance, as I usually slide some money in the clip and throw it in the basket like it's a money clip.

I was wrong in my last post - I don't "like" this knife - I LOVE this Knife! but it is lonely - that means I guess I'll have to buy anotherone fairly soon - What experience has anyone had with the "Q" model? that looks interesting.. even though I get nervous about cutting away parts of the blade.

Hey Revvie, does the g10 Rookie have the stainless steel spacer, or the single steel liner, similar to the Standard? Or is it like the BF Native, just g10?

The Rookie has the single stainless liner. It's too cool! And I too felt that mine was "lonely" so I picked up a Wegner last week to keep the lil Rookie company! They look so darn happy together, it brings a tear to my eye
