That looks excellent Josh! Very nice. If I may ask, what type of pins/bolts did you use for the handle? They look good also, by the way. Mike
 
I'm so glad you like it! I was meaning to ask lol.

Hey Mike, I ran out of my stainless tube material, so I used aluminum rod stock for weight reduction. Really light and strong, finishes well along with the wood. Sometimes a harder pin material will not sand evenly with the wood, and you get kinda low spots around the pin. kinda lumpy pins. The aluminum doesnt do that, and i found it grinds easier along with the handle material, so the heat buildup isn't as much like a steel pin.
 
wd- A bigger guard?
Use the proper grip and your hand will not slip forwards.
