rosewood burl and B52

That is one of the finest looking razors i've seen Butch. You are gifted when it comes to making them.

That burl is SWEET stuff! Which brings to mind a question: I have quite a few vintage straight razors and they all have handles made from a material that would not be affected by moisture. I know rosewood is an oily wood, but will it stand up to long term use shaving?

Butch I am always amazed! Outstanding work.

You are really doing great things with steel, I think your work with specialty steels is advancing knifemaking. I can't say enough good about your work either, it is top notch in every way.

the wood should hold up just fine a light oil now and then along with the blade would keep it looking great for a long time (i think the blade if dame would be of more concern ) i can make them also with G10 or micarta but most like the burls best

it is one piece (i dont like making 3 piece razors )
i ll fire up the light box and get a few more pictures for you

Thanks for posting the other photos.
Doing the single piece handle really makes a big difference in the looks of the razor.
In my mind it takes it from being a razor to a sculptural piece of art.

I forgot to say how kickass you are, Butchie. I'm not kidding, bro - I need two razors to complete me, and one's got to be from you!

Said it before, say it again - love this one, bro!!!

Mr. Harner,

That is a very impressive piece of work. The grind lines are excellent and the handle is a work of art.

Wow!
You have come a long way from the knife I bought from you several years ago.

Love the Iron wood!!!!
