SOLDRough Country Chopper, 10+” blade x 2” wide, .330” thick at ricasso, distal taper. I made this Chopper for myself as a “cutting competition” blade, but its a touch too long. Differentially heat treated, satin finish, 1095FG blade with convex edge, really good weight for both chopping and speed cuts. Blade has some forge pitting/hammer marks left alone, this blade as you see it basically came off the anvil and was lightly cleaned up on the grinder.
Guard, pins and lanyard liner are SS, handle is laminated Osage Orange, it will darken and brown a bit with age. Comes as shown with “rough out” sheath (sheath fit is ok, could be better, but works). The price is $575, that includes domestic shipping/insurance. Payment by USPS m/o or paypal.

Feel free to email or call with any questions,
Thanks, Matt

Sweet blade.

I recently bought one of Matt's 1095 choppers. I cant speak highly enough of it. It is a sweet blade. Great chopper, and very clean lines on the handle/guard etc. Well worth the money

thanks all, this one really cuts well too, snappy handle with enough blade to really lay into something.
