Rough Rider Warning Label?

Ok folks. If this thread, that barely belongs here in the first place, starts getting political it'll get closed.

Chinese brass contains a lot of lead. So do old valves and fittings for potable water. That's why new regulations.

Ok, back out of the Political. Here's another warning. If you look at the knife tip too closely, it could cause blindness.

It's not funny when you find out a China made toy or trinket you gave your child tests positive for a high percentage of heavy metals.

I live in California. That label is everywhere. The unfortunate thing about it, is that it does not tell you WHAT about the product is bad.

My car has the label on it. Is it the exhaust? The mirrors? The light bulbs? The oil in the car? I have no idea.
The label is at the home improvement stores on any piece of wood. Seems like all wood is carcinogenic.

I guess it's nice to know. But it would be better if it was clarified.

Well the wood is probably chinese pressure treated and plywood that leaches formaldehyde fumes into your home. Electronics contain heavy metals. Have you heard of the Chinese Sheetrock that leached corrosive fumes Into new homes. The copper wiring and plumbing was reduced to a useless corroded mess and fire hazard.

I have been picking up a few Rough Rider knives lately to be able to compare them with other brands and have been very impressed to say the least!

My newest one came in the mail today.:) A Roughr Rider Apallosa bone Trapper. NICE, NICE, NICE!!

Here's the odd part. Inside the box along with the knife was a little warning label! What is this all about!? LOL! Has anyone else seen anything like this come along with their knives? What is it exactly I should be concerned about? :(

The question has been sufficiently discussed with more than sufficient snide and political commentary.
