If you think the first one is bad, then there is the DOUBLE, and then the two letters that kill...."PE". (PULMONARY EMBOLISM)

NEVER go into the shop with an N95, at least!

Been there. No fun at all. Glad to hear you are improving. Look after yourself first. Nobody minds waiting an extra two weeks for their blades, really. ;)
 
Hang in there man--get strong and get well. Nasty stuff... I got what what must have been a milder case (no high fever), despite having taken a flu shot. Even then, it gave me the kind of body aches and cold-type symptoms that made me wish I'd never gotten out of bed.

Rest up and get past it--and keep clear of your new little guy for a bit (though I'm sure you are well aware). I have a newborn now too (my fourth) and I'm constantly washing my hands before picking her up.
 
Oh yuck!!! Mate glad you're on the up. I've been there and I felt like I was going to die. Dreadful thing pneumonia.
 
I had pneumonia once. Kicked my ass. Hard. I was 12. I can't imagine what it would do to a full grown human adult. You ARE human, right?

Hmmmm. Time for some investigation..... ;)

Glad to hear your starting to feel better. Being sick is no good, it drives me crazy when I'm sidelined with a bug. There's a real nasty bug going around here seems to last couple weeks, been lucky though and haven't had it.

Same here except I was about 25 or so. I had pneumonia (along with a bad cold or maybe the flu), and the cough was horrible.

Garth, I'm glad you are feeling better! I missed 3 weeks of work when I had pneumonia. Do take good care of yourself!

Many people around my corporation are having this bronchial / flu thing.....

I attribute my resistance to these bugs to my consistently high BAC.....
