Roughly what is this worth?

It's a custom shop camp tramp, unused.

What do you suppose this would fetch on say... the exchange? Do professional modified knives typically fetch more or less than their unmodded counterparts?

That's a good question. I would think it depends on the mods made and personal preference. I am not a fan of the recurve blade, so IMHO this particular modded Camp Tramp would not be as valuable (to me) as the factory version.
To me the Swamp Rat and Busse knives are worth more as they come from the factory. But that's just me.

That was one of the few that Gundy had custom gound by a fellow in Australia, Jensen Elite Blades. Its not a Custom Shop piece as its not been done at the shop in Wauseon. But that doesnt hurt that value as they were all very well done and the recurve was carefully kept in the hardened area.

I remember when Gundy had those done, but I cannot remember the specific year. The CT's were still in production at the time though.

CT's were going anywhere from 200 to 300 depending a few months back, but I havent seen one for sale lately. A good starting point would be 250 with a lot of wiggle room for discussion.
