Second round of knives for sale. Check out this eclectic mix, from the massive Carrillo Iron Rhino COBRA to the gorgeous Tim Galyean Small Lahar proto, all are “as-new” given that I purchased almost all new and kept them stored in a climate-controlled safe.

1. Tim Galyean Small Lahar Prototype – This frame-lock flipper features a 3” hand-ground satin finished clip point recurve blade with a notched thumb-rest and flipper. The handle has a milled blue anodized titanium frame with matching titanium clip, tip-down carry, and anodized titanium barrel spacers. Perfect lockup, detent, and blade seating. SOLD
2. David Mosier Custom Framelock Folder - Titanium frame with 3.5” satin finished blade and 7.75″ overall length. Flawless fit and finish by one of today’s hottest makers; perfect for EDC. $995
3. David Mosier Defiant Folder PROTOTYPE - Made exclusively for TAD, this proto is extremely rare. The hollow ground S30V spear point blade, hand-ground by David, has a gorgeous satin finish. Titanium bolsters add to the look of the knife, while the carbon fiber scales have been worked to look like high-end Micarta. Broad titanium pocket clip. Strong lock-up with absolutely no blade play and perfect blade centering.
According to David “I did a run of those for TAD gear, called the Defiant. I also did a flipper version. It was my design based off my Decepter model. That was the last folder I ever did with TAD. I made a few more after the ones I did with them, but only 5 more,” so you know this knife is both rare and special. $850
4. FFKW Gavko Collaboration Mako 2015 - This knife is a collaboration between Ferrum Forge and Mike Gavik of Gavko knives. Features a tumble finshed blade with light acid wash. The handle is tumble finished Ti with tip up anodized titanium clip, anodized titanium pivot. Nice detent, lockup and blade seating. Purchased new. Comes with nylon zippered case. SOLD

The handle is tumble finished Ti with tip up anodized titanium clip, anodized titanium pivot. Nice detent, lockup and blade seating. Purchased new. Comes with nylon zippered case. $600
6. FFKW Gavko Collaboration Mako 2015 - This knife is a collaboration between Ferrum Forge and Mike Gavik of Gavko knives. Features a tumble finished blade with satin flats, thumbhole and flipper. The handle is tumble and anodized finished with orange peeled and anodized tip-up titanium clip, anodized titanium pivot. Nice detent, lockup and blade seating. Purchased new. Comes with nylon zippered case. $600
7. Dwaine Carrillo “Iron Rhino” COBRA – Black G-10 presentation scale and Ti lock-side scale/frame. Stamped “2012” on lock-side blade. Custom blue anodized pocket clip. Purchased directly from maker: $1,195
8. Shirogorov Model 111 Flipper – This is one or the earlier versions to make its way to the U.S. from the Shirogorov Borthers facility in Russia. The action on this 111 is smoother and faster than many automatics, thanks to the trademark Shirogorov multi-row bearing system. The 4.25" drop point blade is made from 440C stainless steel with a high flat grind (but with no partial blood groove like the newer mid-tech models). The handle is contoured black G10 over Titanium liners which gives this knife a comfortable thickness you don't get on the model 95. The 3D pocket clip is made from milled titanium and is one of the most copied clip designs out there because it looks amazing and is amazingly functional. $750

The knife features a bolstered presentation side with Zirconium bolster matched with carbon fiber scale. The lock-side and frame are titanium. The clip is also made of Zirconium and is positioned for tip-up carry. Strong lock up, nice detent, with perfect blade centering when closed. Comes with certificate of authenticity and original knife sock. As described by the maker, the knife is: “overbuilt and meant to be used!” $525

Allen Elishewitz has kicked off the project for us and will be followed by Jim Burke, David Mosier, Lee Williams and Pat Hammond with more to come. Allen's grinds on the DETOX’s PSF 27 stainless steel are spot on and the flipping action is crisp. The contoured carbon fiber feels great in the hand. Knife weighs in at 5 OZ. $1,250
