Round or oval handled folders?

I wondering if anyone knows of or can recommend any "production folders" that utilize round or oval handles EXCLUDING Opinels.
I personally would love to see a round (or oval) G-10 or Micarta handled folder.
So here I go again asking the experts!
Thanks

The old generation (before Triad lock) Cold Steel Voyagers had an oval-ish handle. I think they are pretty comfortable. Those are getting harder to find, were all made in Japan and were high quality knives. good luck.

Thanks crom. I was afraid my request would bring slim pickins but it's looking pretty pathetic. I think round/oval handles are extremely comfortable as judging from my kitchen knives; so why not production folders?

Because then people would compain that they weren't comfortable in the pocket. Seriously, lots would rather have a knife that carries well (slab sided tactical folder) over one that is comfortable in the hand. Go figure. The older I get the more I am looking for more hand-filling knives.

Cold steel used to make a Twistmaster knife in various sizes and configurations for quite cheap. They had the same locking mechanism as Opinel, but they were much more "tactical" looking, with mostly-ROUND knurled Zytel handles and Carbon V blades. I have a 5" tanto sitting in my glove box.

They can still be found, but the prices are up there.

I see your point. (no pun intended)
Got any recommendations of YOUR favorite palm filling comfortable foldies? I'd appreciate your ideas as we both may have the same ideas as to what "comfortable" should be. Personally I like about a 4" handle with a 2.75 to 3" thin blade.

Just viewed a You Tube vid. of this knife; interesting. thanks for the recommendation. I'd like to see a picture.

Fallkniven PXL, confortable oval micarta handle, look classic but solid as a ZT knife !

It's because 99 percent of the time the knife is in a pocket. And for most people, when the knife is being used it's a quick cut and back in the pocket. Most people don't really have a need for super comfy handles.

As to the question, I've found the griptilians to be very comfy. They have a somewhat oval shape to them.

I like the Griptillians as mentioned, I have a Buck Paperstone (112) Ranger that's super comfortable, the Sod buster type knives. But all of these are slightly bulkier in the pocket, some don't even have clips.

The Gentlemen laguiole variant from perfectionist maker Fontenille-Pataud is nicely hand-filling and has a somewhat oval shaped handle:

There are lots of oval shaped folders, yes plenty have flat scales but just about any time you see CNC work on a folder the handle ends up being fairly rounded.
Injection molded handles are usually pretty round too.

elbowroom That's a matching numbered(#87) set of M4 Grips with Brown canvas micarta scales that I made for them, w/standoffs.
