Round up those Cattle Knives!!

20200928_210516.jpg Here's one. Looks like the spey was modified. Bail added. New covers and shield. White pins. 5311310. 53 with half stops on all three blades. Were all the cattle knives on the 53 pattern made with half stops? I thought half stops were reserved for the 54 pattern......

That's a Beauty Augie my friend, I would have lept on that, if I am right I had my eye on that one- but didn't see a box!

Augie I am sure that that Knife is a Sears SFO arrangement of Blades, I haven't seen a " Camillus" Made Knife- Only High Carbon Steel - I am sure that these Knives are from Sears order specifications.

That a very nice Knife, one anyone would be proud of!

Thank you all for the nice comments, appreciated:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Duncan, I agree with the Sears SFO, several friends have responded to me stating that they also have only seen the blade configuration on the Sta-Sharp knives, that Sears account had to be a huge one for Camillus.
I've always had a soft spot for Sears,Roebuck & Co, growing up in a military family we were stationed all over the world and almost all our goods came from the Sears catalog, mom and dad would sit down once a month and fill out an order form to be mailed in with a check and the order would usually show up in a month or so, even when we returned to the states Sears was the store to go too, they had everything and it was quality, sad how things have changed.

Not the typical "cattle knife" in the true sense of the word, but this is the knife in my pocket on Sunday's ride. :)
