Round Yorkshire With A Knife: The Wizard’s Quest Part 13 – Settle Down

THANKS once again Jack. Gorgeous pics.somewhere between Ripping Yarns (8-1eight bloody one)and Withnail and I.
Thanks also for alerting us to threat of killer shrimp. That you bravely snapped a picture of her threatening that stallholder
Illustrates your dedication to the quest. Good omen to see the southern cross flying on the 'other flag'.

Thanks for taking us with on such a lovely day-trip Jack. Looks to be a beautiful area. I really enjoy your photographs:thumbup:

Jack, if you come over here we'll go knife hunting in PA. Lots of good food and good cutlery in the junk shops.

Jack,
Great Idea. If You ever end up on this side of the pond, You have plenty of Friends to take you on the tour.

Jack, if you ever make it to the States you are more than welcomed to come to Virginia, not many knives but several quaint old American towns and I promise between the two of us family black sheep we will try to drink enough beer for you to sail home on a sea of foam.

Thank you Jack! These travel write ups are very enjoyable! You have an easy writing style and a sense of expansive detail that conveys well the landscape of a region.

We need a contest: Play Host to Jack in your Hometown!

Oh, and Austin, TX is the place to be. BBQ, beer & blades as far as the eye can see :)

Thank you my friends for your ongoing kindness and generosity. I would certainly love to meet you all in person. Maybe one day :)

Code Blue on the porch! Code Blue on the porch! ;)

Thanks for the tour Jack. It's ages since I was in Settle. I was introduced to Freddie Trueman in Settle in the late 60s. [Freddie Trueman was a great Yorkshire and England cricketer].

Some folk sure knew how to build. Stone and stonework appear to have grown out of the ground. Great tour. If you ever want to see the "real Florida" it will be arranged.

Tom
