Round Yorkshire With A Knife: The Wizard’s Quest Part 17 – What A Way To Spend Easter

"I'm struggling to post pics myself currently - but that's due to my technical incompetence! "

I have the same problem Jack :D

Best regards

Robin

Thanks for taking the time to share your adventures Jack. It's always a treat, so we'll documented and described.

Chris

Another great one Jack, I always enjoy your writings, The more I read the more I am deciding I need to visit Jolly Ole England.

Well done with another great write-up Jack. Many thanks. I like the butterfly knife, though I have never handled one. It looks small.
Regards A.

Jack,
From the photos, it looks like You had a pleasant day.
I hope You resolve Your technical difficulty.

Meako, Iron Fest is on my bucket list. I think most of the blacksmiths I know will be there, and most of them demonstrating & competing. Have a great time, and please post photos?

Jack, thanks a lot for this series of posts, it's excellent. And brings good memories too. :)

Thanks for the update, Jack! :D

The Pace-Egg play looks a real hoot!

I really enjoy viewing your photos of all these historical places. My imagination runs wild, filled with visions of so many generations of people living, working, fighting, loving, and everything else, the millions of footfalls that wore down the cobblestones to the smooth, weathered state we see them in today...

That old butterfly knife is really something special! Did you end up taking it home with you?

Thanks once again for the story and beautiful pictures. One of my life's dreams was to visit that part of the world someday. My Dad's family came to the states from England long ago.

Bob

Many thanks for the kind words folks. ADEE, the Butterfly knife is 3 inches.

I'm just on a bus, going to a Sunday morning 'car boot' sale in the North Yorkshire village of ripely.

Good hunting Jack.
FreezerGeezer -mate I'll post a thread in community because even I am struggling to find Ironfest 2014 relevant to the this subforum-and I go off on some fairly obscure tangents!;)

I've been getting caught up on your installments. The new job has kept me busy. Anyway, I did not know you had a bridge. Do you collect tolls for crossing? ;)

Hope the job is going OK my friend. I'm hoping I can actually make a living myself now that the Quest is over! Unfortunately the bridge belongs to another Jack! :D
