Dear O Intrepid One,
I posted yesterday to thank you for your ongoing ordeal on my behalf.Somehow the internet connection mucked up and it didn't post. Either that or the mods took one look at my comments about Sharia Fashions(menswear shop) and managed to pull the plug before it went to air. Allow me to summarise.
When the quest is concluded I want to shout you a bottle of Australias finest and the worlds harshest Rum Bundaberg OP. Bottled argument as I call it.This I can do via some alcoholic version of Interflora or perhaps through one of my English rellies .Also Congrats to Bod,Mrs Bod and young Jacko-Sounds like the pair of you got his head how shall I say it? well and truly over moistened.
If anyone is looking for Steptoe and Son -please watch the episode entitled The Seven Steptoerai- its on youtube. The kung fu fight at the end is British comedy at its best-when the old man calls his crusty old mates to battle the standover heavies leaves me asking the question "why is that so funny?" It just is.
I also remember being regularly dragged around Jessops department store in Nottingham in the late 60s as a small child by mum-wonder if its the same.
