Rounding the edge of a stone

I recently bought a 2-sided stone from a garage sale, and all is well except for the edges.
I bought it with the intention to round off the edges so that I can use it to better service recurve blades.

However, I'm not sure what the best way is to remove material from a stone. Suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

It looks like a aluminum oxide stone, which is very hard, try the sidewalk or a similar type stone.

Well, that was easier than I expected...

Sidewalk/cement method works! I also finished it off with some wet sandpaper I had lying around since "sidewalk" is too low of a grit for my liking :D

Thanks again!
