Hi everyone, up for sale is this RP Knives custom Chute Knife from ABS Bladesmith & History Channel’s Forged in Fire contestant Alex Eisenberg. This one has monkey pod wood over black liners which does have some nice chatoyancy in the light with interesting grain and appearance. The double edged blade is 52100 steel.
OAL 11 3/4". Blade 6 1/2" x 3/16". Cutting edge 5 5/8". Nickel guard with thumb spots. Comes with a very nicely done custom leather RH sheath shown (also made by Alex). Really neat knife.
There is a little bit of patina starting on the blade in a couple of spots that you could easily polish off. They are there from storage, the knife has not been used. I am leaving them just to keep everything original. The knife also has an imperfect grinding on the butt, where there is a little bit of a sloppy thumb depression.
