I was curious to whether anyone has had any experience with this knife (model AG-CJ1). Im looking for a fairly nice-sized dressy folder to carry on occasions when one of my black tactical monstrosities may not be appropriate. Ive gotten spoiled by the convenience of one-hand opening and closing and Im ashamed to admit that Im hesitant to carry some of my custom pieces for fear that they may get dinged
I was thinking that this knife my be a good candidate for a non-tactical daily carry. It appears to be a good-looking knife, with a drop point blade in decent (if not exceptional) steel and nice organic materials for the scales (Chinese quince burl?). Im not sure if Im really thrilled with the long, sky blue titanium bolsters (having never seen one of these knives in person), but the overall package sounds very attractive, if a bit pricey.
So does anyone have any thoughts about the relative merits of this knife? Ive heard really good things about the quality of A.G. Russells products, but since Ive never handled any of his knives I thought it would be a good idea to see if any of the Forumites knew anything about this blade. Any input will be appreciated
