RR just amazes me all the time

Do you guys actually use these knives? I understand the appeal of a cheap knife, but we're supposed to be knifenuts here. RR may make a decent slipjoint, but their stuff still doesn't compare to Case or Queen.

I like my Queen knives an you can be sure if i'm hunting, fishing, etc. there will be a Queen knife in my pocket. But for an every day beater i will use one of my RR, Camco work horse, new Kissing Crane etc. because if I bang up or loose a $10 knife I wont cry as long.....:D

Thanks to the generosity of Orca, I have a few of the RR, Steel Warrior and Frost knives to test out.

My first impression is that the knives are impressive given their very low price. Fit and finish is reasonably good in most cases though scale color and material could certainly be improved. (One or two look like they may have already been or may be candidates for future bleeding of the dye used in the scales.)

With only a couple of exceptions there was little to no blade play or wobble and the edges were almost uniformly sharp. (Some may have been touched up by Orca and I haven't had an opportunity to examine them yet as they just arrived.)

So, time will tell how these hold up both edgewise and in terms of the robustness of their construction.

My sincere gratitude goes out to Orca for his most generous and unsolicited gesture.
