If anybody has been craving a rr spike knife,here you go.Forged from a new spike,Drop Point,convex grind,scotchbrite finish,very sharp,digital camo lanyard,no sheath,but would do a Kydex for 20.00------Specs-8 1/4" oal---edge 4"--blade width 1 3/8" at widest-----50.00 in Conus including postage and fees--Paypal preferred------bjsilver1126@yahoo.com-thanks for checking it out---Butch THIS ONE IS SPF

ive been looking at these online, nice that a member makes 'em. Now i'm getting crazy thoughts:D Also admired your patch knives:thumbup:
please give me a heads up when you have another one:)
typically what kinda steel are these?
could definitely see one of your knives coupled with a leather sheath... see im already thinking about it way too much

You just gave me a thought Ivan,how about a rr spike knife with a patchknife,in a combo sheath,huh:thumbup:Thanks Butch------the patch knives are 5160 the spikes I guess 1045 or a little higher,not sure--

do you do the lanyard hole on all of them?
One of these would look awesome if the handle had a slight curve to it:D

are ya thinking a piggyback or a side by side??? I saw an interesting kabar (?) on ebay that was side by side with a smaller knife, cant find the darn thing now... My vote would be leather:D:thumbup: Im just saying...

I'm thinking piggyback,yeah has to be leather--still thinkin-Butch-ouch it hurts:D
 
Got it today, I'm not home but She Who Must be Obeyed says it is perfect. The shipping was fast, and communication great.

Got mine today. Love it!
Blade varies from .175" to .100" thk.
handle dia. ~.850"
O.A.L. ~9.00"
Blade 5.5" to tip handle,4.5" sharp, razor sharp.
This was made from a substantial RR spike as my coffee can full of 20+ vintage various spikes had nothing big enough to make this knife.
I like the very proud maker's stamp and blade is straight with handle.
Pommel similar in size to M1Garand bayonet skull cracker.
I also admire your attention to detail, as you left the original spike makers hallmark undestrubed(yep, I noticed).
Wonderful craftsmanship and you must be green from all this recycling you doing!-LOL
