Thats pretty much got to be Richard Rogers, one of the up and coming premier slipjoint makers. I've seen him at shows in Arizona set up his table and be sold out within 20 minutes. If you've picked up a Rogers slipjoint count yourseld lucky and appreciate it.
Richard is from Magdelena. His work is very much in demand and if you get a chance to handle it you will know why. I try to pick up one or two of his pieces each year and that is not an easy task. To top it off he and his wife, Sally are great people to get to know.
He makes a mean fixed blade too(when you can talk him outta making folders). I was fortunate to get him to make me a few fixed blades several years ago. Still have a couple of them.
My partner picked up one of his a little skinners with micarta scales at an AZ gun show and gave it to me. I love it and have used it afield when we hunt Coues. It has a very cool semi-horizontal leather belt sheath.
