Chuck didn't have the time just before the Arkansas Show to edit the photos of this knife but now it's done. Thanks Chuck. I thought you might want to see it. The blade is 9 3/4 inch with a sharpened clip. The handle is some of my nice Ironwood and the fittings are 416 SS.

Monster aggressive fighting knife with super detailing and really beautiful Ironwood.

Great seeing it in Little Rock, and now in Chuck's photo.

OK Ray, we've already had this discussion. It's pronounced like your's but spelled Rhea. :D It was great to have you down for the show. You're always welcome. Remember, the fishin's great here.

Thanks to you all.

Lin, that is AWESOME, some of the finest DI and Damascus I have seen, the grain in the DI almost mirrors the pattern in the Damascus.

Stunning Lin!!!

I get a lot of satisfaction out of seeing a dyed in the wool hammer guy build such a strong presence with subhilts... since so many think of them as a knife that only comes from the stock removal side of this in a certain style. And just to keep myself out of hot water here with you guys that do stock removal subhilts, that is IN NO WAY a bash on you for doing your thing... it's just a warm thumbs up to a friendly and highly skilled Ms for bringing such a strong and distinct style to the table with his subhilts. :)

Keep cranking those beauties out Lin!!! :D

Lin

That is really a great overall package - steel, blade, fittings and the wood!

ridiculously awesome, and partly because of what Nick said, but mostly due to sheer awesomeness.

Having seen a number of your sub-hilts Lin. I think this one is the best so far, Really nice flow and materials, plus it feels pretty good too. Great one.

Your subhilts are AWESOME Lin and this is another. The etch really shows the damascus pattern exceptionally well, and that ironwood is as nice as any i've seen.

Aesthetically speaking, I think blackwood or ebony would also look great with that damascus.
