FedEx FINALLY got it here!

Due to the weekend, the online tracking showed that it sat from Friday late until this morning about 1 mile from my house at FedEx, but I couldn't get it, just about drove me nuts!

Gotta say, that my initialy impressions are that it lives up to it's rep', this is one slick knife! And the factory edge is utterly amazing. I may add a bright colored wrist lanyard, which I tend to put on knives used around water anyway.

The RSK-1 blades a winner, the profile obviously had a great deal of thought put into it.

It is a great knife. I wish I would've picked up one in M2, but they were available when i thought I should only have stainless on that type of folder. Grrrr.

Congrats TLC. I have thought about picking that one up, but axes and custom folders have seem most my $$$ these days.

Yeah, I'm like a kid with a new toy! I have a pile of sliced up newsprint to clean up, I actually let some 6X9 sections go from shoulder height, and swung the knife at them as they fell, it will cleanly slice falling newsprint in two pieces in midair!

Hey..... how does the blade do closing with the "axis lock"? Does it swing freely after you pull the lock back? Alway been curious

Yes, you pull the lock bar back, and the blade swings free. A quick flip of the wrist, and the blade is back snug and safe in the handle.

Unless you forget to release the lock bar once the blade is nearing the handle - then it bounces back open again!!!
