Steel: 1095 , HT by me, quenched in Parks 50, Tempered to 58hrc
Blade: High flat ground, distal taper, 4.2" long and 3/16" thick at the ricasso. Slightly tapered tang puts the balance point at the choil keeping it remarkably agile in the hand. The choil itself is deep enough to give piece of mind that your booker hooks won't end up on the scary part. Hand cut jimping gives adequate thumb purchase without being uncomfortable in an ungloved hand. Machine Finished (scotchbrite VF). Forge scale flats.
Scales: Stabilized Redwood Burl with Orange G10 liners. Brass pins and lanyard hole. West Systems epoxy
