  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

RTAK 2 or ranger knives RD9

I don't own either of those knives, the closest I come to it is a RD6 and a TAK-1. Both brands are up to the task, I have read good stuff about the new and improved RTAK. I think the Rangers are a bit rougher cosmetically around the edges than Ontario. I would take either one.

The Ranger will take alot more abuse than the RTAK, it is made from 1/4" stock & the RTAK is made of 3/16" stock. Justin will also do any mods that you might want to do to the blade or scales.A great value for the money & a good guarantee.!

Only good things to say about justin from my experience with him. Here is a pic of the custom knife he made for me (bottom knife). It only took about 2 weeks for me to get the blade and the price was outstanding. The orange handles RD9 was aquired in a trade.

About $120 for an RD9 w/ sheath. Another $20 for satin finish if you want it - that should be right...

The RD9 is 10" from handle to tip (The man doesn't count the choil 'cause it isn't sharpened. ). Lots of chopping leverage and made from a steel with excellent chemistry for impact resistance.

Guyon, I love your choppers!

I'm going for an RD9 and RD4, unfinished (so I can cold blue them), as soon as I get my re-enlistment check in April! Can't wait!

I have an RD7 with a recurve arriving tomorrow. I'll give first impressions when it gets here. Justin answered all the questions I threw at him and was real easy to deal with.
