RTAK2 mods?

I'm thinkin about changing this knife up. It has seen little use and I'd like to turn it into somethin special. All I'm sure I'll do is convex the edge. Not sure I'll touch the micarta, but I might.

Strip it! Then buff it with a Scotchbrite wheel. Then sand and contour the handle. Then polish the spine and tang edges flush with the scales down to a shiny 15 microns. Then put on a wicked convex edge and polish it, too. Then sharpen the swedge and......maybe not.

go for it!

don't forget the details that make it more comfy for use... like rounding the spine ect.

we had a nice thread up recently on mods to an ontario 12" machete that had some real good ideas. i'm not sure i wanna do those same mods, but somethin.
