This is an early Ruana 14-B Skinner. It is stamped with the little Bowie stamp which dates it to early 1940's- 1964. Made by Rudy Ruana. There was a fair amount of rust on portions of the blade, which I cleaned up. I am a custom knife maker so I did not touch or alter any of the geometry of this beautiful knife. I did sharpen the edge as there was pitting there. It is razor sharp and will push cut copy paper. The scales are solid with no play or shrinkage. If I lived in elk hunting country, I would totally rely on this knife. The blade exhibits a nice differential heat treating line. There is no sheath with this knife, but if you would like, I can make one if you would be interested. Asking price is $250.
